Tap To Print -- Activate Your Card

posted by Wharton Computing Student Support on March 24, 2017 in WCIT

Tap to Print is here -- Wharton Computing has added proximity card readers to all Wharton printers!

Beginning Monday March 27, all that is needed to print is to wave your PennCard over the reader. This will reduce the likelihood of printing errors, improving reliability and saving time. The swipe readers will stick around, too, so you’ll have the option of using both.

Upperclassmen and Second Years:  Your PennCards need activating -- stop by the PennCard office (2nd floor of the Bookstore) to activate your card.

If you got your PennCard in the last year, you should already be activated for the service. If your PennCard is more than 1 year old, you will need to activate it before you can use the proximity readers for printing.

Try it out! And let us know if you have any questions or problems printing.
